El 19 de noviembre se llevó acabo en Ciudad Bolivar, Bogotá el IV Festival Montaña y Palabra: Por la defensa de la soberanía alimentaria, este año tuvo como eje central el problema de ambiental y basuras en esta ciudad.
Las danzas, música y teatro fueron las protagonistas de este festival con un solo lema «por vida digna y soberanía ambiental: el sur se moviliza», con el fin de visibilizar las problemáticas socio-ambientales que atraviesa las comunidades alrededor de la Quebrada Lima como: el mal manejo de los residuos sólidos, el relleno sanitario Doña Juana, la expansión urbana y la explotación minera.
Este festival se vuelve la excusa para encontrarse y articular diferentes colectivos artísticos, juveniles y populares en la defensa de la vida, el territorio y construcción de vida digna, siendo el eje articulador las artes, y que abren espacios para el diálogo fraterno con las comunidades.
